Any group that does not enjoy the rights and protections of citizenship under the laws of ay recognized country, and any individual who is affiliated by ethnicity or nationality with such a group, is eligible to apply for benefits of Full Membership within The League of Stateless Nations. NGOs and INGOs that serve stateless nations or individuals, but whose staff and/or Board of Directors are not affiliated by ethnicity or nationality with a stateless group, may apply for Representative Membership benefits.

At The League of Stateless Nations, there are no membership fees and all humanitarian assistance and legal/social advocacy services are offered at no cost to stateless individuals and groups who qualify for Full Membership. NGOs and INGOs that serve stateless groups and individuals, but whose staff and/or Board are not comprised of stateless individuals, are eligible to receive benefits on a sliding-scale, contributory basis on behalf of the populations they serve as Representative Members.
