The League of Stateless Nations exists to provide aid and advocacy to distinct ethnic groups who do not qualify for the rights and protections of citizenship under the laws of any country. Because history has taught us that those whose cries are not heard are more likely to seek justice through violent means, our mission is to empower the voices of stateless nations and individuals who have been silenced by persecution. As the International Criminal Court does not currently consider cases referred by unrecognized states, our vision is to pave a path to legal recourse for stateless groups so their oppressors will be held accountable. We firmly believe that it is only through such accountability that humanitarian atrocities against stateless groups and individuals can be deterred.
The following humanitarian services are provided by The League of Stateless Nations free of charge and with unwavering dedication to the universal humanitarian principles of neutrality and impartiality:

Educational Programs;
Investigation/Reporting of Atrocities;
Legal & Social Advocacy.
While we absolutely will not support acts of terrorism, physical force, or intimidation by any group, we recognize that not all individuals who are aligned with an specific group can be held responsible for violence perpetrated by a faction within that group. The League of Stateless Nations will not withhold life-saving aid from an entire nation based on the actions of a few individuals.
When we refuse to listen to the valid grievances of people who have been systematically subjected to abuse, discrimination, marginalization, and forced displacement, we should not be surprised if they find louder ways to get our attention. While amplifying stateless voices to an extent that decisionmakers cannot ignore them and reporting atrocities to relevant authorities, the League of Stateless Nations also develops interactive peacebuilding projects and inquiry-based learning programs to instill in stateless youth the belief that words truly can be more powerful than weapons. In addition, because there is indeed strength in numbers, we work to raise public awareness through publications, such as our State of the Stateless newsletter, as well as carefully curated events.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, more than 10 million men, women and children representing over 1,000 ethnically distinct groups have no country to call home and no system of laws to protect them.
